So, I was talking to someone the other day who swears by Febreze for getting rid of room odours.  If you look up Febreze on the Environmental Working Group website, it's been given an overall rating of F and that's not very reassuring.

Well, I thought there had to be a better safer way. After doing some research, here's an idea:

1.  Open all the windows and doors to the room for a few minutes, even in the winter.  It never hurts to get some fresh air going through our tightly sealed houses in the winter.

2.  Once the room is aired out, close all the windows and doors again.

3. Then get a few drops of essential oil like lavender and place it near the air vent where the warm air is released.  The air warms the oil and will blow it into the room.

We hope you'll give this a try.

So, to Febreze or not to Febreze?  The choice is yours.
